What a dumb question! We don't all have the same idea of what is the right direction and what is the wrong direction. So, as long as we are pretty well divided in this country, you will always get a fairly high wrong direction... no matter who is in power! By the way, I do think that one thing the American people want is for their politicians to represent them. Most of us are not getting what we want.
